They were probably invented by the drug companies so they could sell more drugs. I know that’s why they were lowered…
They weren’t really invented. It is measured in mmHg (millimeters of Mercury). That is just the measurement used. I don’t know who decided that was a good way to measure it or who discovered how to measure it.
