BP 112/56 pulse 66. I’m a 21-year-old female, reasonably active, 5′5 140 lbs. On websites they give broad ranges for BP and pulse. Are mine good considering my age and situation? Are they above or below average? I’m wondering because I recently read some news stories about kids who are starting to get high blood pressure
Your systolic blood pressure at 112 is very good, your diastolic blood pressure at 56 is a bit on the low side but not a problem as long as it does not drop substantially below 60 and your pulse at 66 is good as well.

Yes, they are very good.

♥ A normal adult BP reading is 110-120/60-80 so you your reading is fine although your bottom number is slightly low. A normal adult pulse should be between 60-80 so yours is perfectly reasonable!
EDIT: To whoever gave me a thumbs down… I’m in medical school I know my stuff thank you very much….

112/56 is actually on the low side, so I wouldn’t worry about high blood pressure. 120/80 is "average", although some say 110/70. Either way, you’re in good shape. Your pulse is normal too, so you can relax

they say a normal bp is 120 over 80 so ur doing great in that area and ur pulse is also normal. i am a nursing assistant and i work in a hospital so my answers are straightforward.

Your pressure and pulse are pretty good for a person of your age. People 2 or 3 times your age should have the same pressure (it is possible.) However for your height you are a little heavy; consider losing 10 to 15 pounds, and you could see your pressure come down a little more.

Those are great numbers, except your weight is slightly above the ideal.

Very fine, but you need to lose around 20 lbs in order to be PERFECT. I’m not saying you’re fat, but please try losing those 20 lbs.
