I worry about my blood pressure being too low. I dont eat fast food or loads of fats, I am 6ft4 and 190 pounds, I go for a 45-hour walk 3 or 4 times a week.
I also smoke about 15 a day. I was told my that lungs are 30% bigger than the average as well.
Is that a good blood pressure after a brisk walk?
Pulse was 87.
That blood pressure is a LITTLE low for a post-workout BP, but some people just have a naturally lower blood pressure. If you find yourself feeling dizzy, weak, etc. you should talk to your doctor about what you can do to regulate your BP.
You mentioned that you don’t eat fast food or loads of fat. But eating fast food and fats is unlikely to DECREASE your blood pressure. It’s more likely to INCREASE it. Now, I’m not saying that you should eat fast food to fix your problem, but my point is that your issue is probably not dietary.
