There is a reason all those stories are out there. Consider that literally hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of patients all had the same or similar negative experiences on Lupron - there is something to be said for that.

The negative experiences notwithstanding, even if you do spectacularly well on GnRH therapy (Lupron and similar ilk), it is merely a stop gap measure that does nothing to treat the Endo long-term. Once the drug is stopped and out of your system, you are left with the same amount, size and spread - and thus, symptoms - as you were before the drug suppression.

Best bet is to look for someone who can provide you with the gold standard surgical treatment for the disease and remove all Endo from all locations, thereby obviating the need for drug suppression at all.

I have never done Lupron itself but have done the sister drug to it called Zoladex and had very good results.

I've met a few women who have done Lupron for their endo and they had very good results.

The reason that it's so hard to find the good stories online is because so many of those women have moved on in their life and often don't come back to the online support groups to share their stories. So it makes it harder for those considering the medication to do research.
References :
Been dealing with endometriosis for 11 years.

Has anyone had a good experience with the drug Lupron for endometriosis?
I am considering taking it for endometriosis and all I can find on the web are horror stories about it ruining people's lives. More info would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
