My wife is having a hard time with her blood pressure. One minute it’s up, next, it’s down. She is on 3 meds but is getting off two, one of them (clonodine) is making it go high, getting off of it. What can I give her to make it go down quickly?
Some herbs have an effect on normalizing high blood pressure. Some that I have seen used or have used myself are Noni juice (my herbalist friend used it with her son when UCLA could not control his BP), Ganoderma lucidum (mild), and Salvia miltiorrhiza (usually comes with notoginseng in tablets.)
High blood pressure can also be reduced by acupuncture. There is a place in the fold of the elbow that is effective. Have your acupuncture doctor show it to you.

You can’t do anything High blood pressure is known as the "Silent killer" A Dr. can give your wife the correct medications. It also depends on what might be causing it. Please see a Dr. Stay away from salt, although salt does not cause high pressure in everyone.

It is very important to take steps to control and reduce high blood pressure. Left untreated, it can result in heart disease or even stroke. High blood pressure can be well controlled by combining a healthy lifestyle with the correct medical treatment.
There are many well known natural high blood pressure remedies. The use of a carefully chosen herbal high blood pressure remedy and dietary supplements can help lower blood pressure naturally, as well as improve overall functioning of the heart, arteries and entire cardiovascular system.
Hawthorn (Crataegus xyacantha) helps the body to adequately dilate blood vessels, thereby maintaining a healthy supply of oxygen and energy to the heart and facilitating normal pumping ability. Numerous recent studies have confirmed the benefits of Hawthorn on the health of the cardiovascular system. (Pittler MH, Schmidt K, Ernst E. “Hawthorn extract for treating chronic heart failure: meta-analysis of randomized trials.” Am J Med 2003;114(8):665-674.)
Natural high blood pressure remedies are a potentially effective alternative to synthetic blood pressure medication, especially if combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

Extremely high blood pressure (malignant hypertension) or rapidly worsening hypertension (accelerated hypertension) most definitely requires treatment using conventional medicine. Remember, as blood pressure requires monitoring and in some cases the use of blood pressure-lowering drugs, alternative treatment for even moderate hypertension must be strictly taken under medical supervision only
There are a number of herbal and homeopathic remedies that are well known for their ability to control high blood pressure with great success. Unlike conventional medicines, which do not always address the root cause, natural remedies can do this without the risk of side effects or addiction.
In keeping with a holistic approach to health, Naturopaths recognize that high blood pressure may be a sign or symptom of imbalance in the body and thus recommend a combination of lifestyle changes and natural remedies to remove the causes of the high blood pressure, rather than simply just treating the symptoms.
Remember to always source your natural remedies from a reputable company in order to ensure safety, efficacy, and correct therapeutic dosage.
