I have these weird wrinkles in the center of my back and i feel pressure in my whole body. I also have a tingly feeling in by shoulders and back (sometimes in chest.) And my heart beat pounds really hard at certain times. I also have a feeling like something is in my throat or chest. I am 17 and had a heart murmur when i was 4 but the doctors took care of it. I am 6′5 and 190 lbs. What could be wrong with me could this be caused by high blood pressure because my BP was really high when i checked it in Walmart. Symptoms have lasted about 4 months but they get worse and sometimes they get better and sometimes some symptoms go away and others come or come back.

The main thing is that you have reason to believe that you’re hypertensive. Hypertension is always dangerous but because of your age and that fact that it is not diagnosed and that you are not in treatment, and not being monitored makes it yet more dangerous. You are very young for hypertension and you should be in treatement to find the cause of it. Untreated, you could experience complications, like kidney problems, that could be avoidable.

It could be something that is easily treated but you have to get to the doctor to find out. Get your parents on board and Scoot!!!!!!

Hypertension is often asymptomatic. However, any irregular heart rhythm should be discussed with your doctor. There are many heart issues besides hypertension which could be life threatening. See your doctor.

For some people hypertension causes no noticible symptoms – which is why they call it the silent killer. Others have lots of symptoms and yours have been noted. You are young for it but it’s not impossible. If you can keep a log of your blood pressure – first thing in the am before you get up and several times through the day. Then see your physician. This is certainly nothing to ignore.
