Blood Pressure Remedies

I am 14weeks pregnant with high blood pressure. My doctor may put me on meds if it doesnt get any better by next week. How would i know if its high what are the symptoms of high blood pressure and am at risk for preclampsia or high risk pregnancy/ bedrest ?
oh sorry i meant to ask if i am at risk for preclampsia and bedrest ? sorry for the confusion.

Preeclampsia you will gain a lot suddenly. Everything swells. Your ankles will swell which is normal but the difference is it’ll swell up your entire legs. Face/hands also. Headaches are part of it. Dizziness, seeing spots, etc.
