Over the course of the past year, I closely assisted a colleague in writing a series of ten articles covering diverse aspects of my ancient astronaut theory. All ten of those articles circulated widely around the globe and view counters on many sites indicated plentiful readership, but feedback to me, or to her, from anywhere, was non-existent. There was neither criticism nor acclaim from anyone. Just silence. I was starting to think that perhaps no one in world wants to take ancient astronauts seriously.
In an attempt to make some progress, I decided to pay sixty dollars for a review of my ancient astronaut website. Of course, this was to be a review by skeptics; a review by New Age believers would be worthless. Their blog’s description was “critical reviews of paranormal claims on the Internet.” The intermediary granted them five days to perform their review but that has long since come and gone, and not a word from them. My website presents a vast amount of evidence and, in truth, I could not expect anyone to produce a good critical review in just five days. No one, including myself, would want to see quickly prepared and frivolous arguments, else I would make them look ridiculous in my counter arguments. Moreover, some of my evidence comes from Spanish-language sources and, to start, they would need time to verify that none of it is a hoax. They are welcome to all the time they need.
What to expect from this blog is uncertain. There are skeptics who are as narrow-minded in their thinking as their New Age counterparts, and then again, there are skeptics, like me, who objectively evaluate the evidence to arrive at the truth. Was there a real ancient astronaut? To help the skeptics answer that question, I will give them some ideas on how to refute my theories. Here, solely for space considerations, I will concentrate on the archaeological evidence, leaving aside ideas on how to refute the cryptology and theology evidence for another day.
My website reproduces engravings from the Tiwanaku civilization in Bolivia. One of those engravings depicts the alleged ancient astronaut as an aquatic with a three-pronged tail, with each of the three prongs ending in a pod. How do the skeptics refute that? Easy. They simply need to demonstrate that the shape of those pods resembles some form of animal or plant life to be found in that region. In other words, they need to find a terrestrial source for those engravings, otherwise my extraterrestrial arguments remain unharmed.
The timing of the Tiwanaku sky-god drawings coincides with the timing of the Nazca Lines in Peru, so the ancient astronaut of both places has to be one and the same. For Nazca, the skeptics will find many ready-made arguments, but I consider all of them weak. The mentality of the people of Nazca cannot be assumed to be unique in human history. It has to be demonstrated that people elsewhere also believed that the sun, moon, or sky-spirits had physical eyes that could observe ground drawings. Alternatively, it has to be demonstrated that the people of Nazca worshipped birds, believing them to have cognitive intelligence.
The recorded engravings on the cosmological Sun Disk, alleged alien artifact, may prove to be the biggest challenge for the skeptics. How are we to believe that the Andeans of the early sixteenth century a) knew that the Earth was round, b) knew that it was possible to orbit the Earth, c) knew that sunlight striking the moon could reflect back to strike a spaceship, d) knew that the dark clouds along the Milky Way contained stars within, and e) knew that water formed the basis of plant and animal evolution? Here the skeptics would need to find parallels in the history of western civilization. I look forward to their response.

The actual terminology surrounding graphic designers has come into being in the twentieth century. However, there are many events that led up to graphic design that could be considered a part of the history of graphic design itself.
Graphic design has its roots in the same rich cultural history of all art. Art has been a part of cultures since before the written word. The history of graphic design stems from these ancient beginnings. The history of graphic design is, in a sense, the history of art and its applications and methods, as well as a history of graphic design reproduction techniques and technology.
Like all recreational and applied arts, graphic design got its real beginning with the invention of the printing press. Previously in the history of graphic design, art and other creative works had to be hand copied. The ability to print copies of art and other creative works was a huge step toward the graphic design that exists today.
Another large step in graphic design history was the development of photography, and later film making. These important steps at the end of the nineteenth century were the stepping stones to creating the graphic designs that we have today. This era also marks the beginning of the separation of creative art, or art for entertainment, from applied art, or art that was used for a purpose such as conveying a message, advertising, and other graphic design purposes.
The next largest step in graphic design history was the development of the computer, and more significantly, the technological wave that led to a personal computer in every home as we have today. Graphic design would not be as popular, nor would it be as effective, creative, and reproducible without the invention of computers. Therefore, the history of graphic design is closely tied with the history of computers, computer software, computer imaging software, computer scanners, computer printers, and digital photography. The internet and graphic design software are perhaps the most important of these technological advances that are a large role in the history of graphic design. Without all of these important technological advances, graphic design would not be what it is today.
There are many other important landmarks in graphic design history. In 1919 the first union of art and industry was put into place. In 1929 commercial artists, advertising designers, and illustrators became common place. In 1970 mega computers allowed for more advances in graphic design with companies like IBM. The development of the micro processor, allowing for personal office and home computers, came in 1980 and was marketed with Apple computers in 1984. Finally, the now common place technology of internet access in 1993 tops off the graphic design history that has lead to the graphic design industry we know and recognize today.
To learn more about the history of graphic design, you can search the internet or your local library. Many colleges and universities offer arts classes and history of graphic design courses. Community education programs also often offer summer classes or work shops on topics of interest such as the history of graphic design.
If you’re planning to become a graphic designer, be sure to perfect your graphic designer resume first!
Wales has a long history of music and has been called the ‘land of song’ since at least the Nineteenth Century. This reference to Wales as the land of song, almost certainly comes from the enthusiastic singing in Welsh churches and at Welsh sports meetings, especially at rugby matches. However, Wales’ links with music go much further back than that.
Wales has a tradition of folk music which is closely linked with Scottish and Irish folk music. There are several forms of musical gathering that are comparable to those in other Celtic countries in the United Kingdom. For instance there is the twmpath (folk dance session), g?yl werin (folk festival) and noson lawen (a traditional party comparable to the Gaelic “C?ilidh”).
Modern Welsh folk musicians have often resurrected traditions which had been suppressed or forgotten, and have competed with imported and native rock and pop trends. This has been particularly the case since the 1990’s.
Despite modern Welsh trends in music, Wales will always be linked with Male Voice Choirs such as the Morriston Orpheus Choir and Treorchy Male Voice Choir which enjoy world wide fame.
These choirs were frequently made up of workers from one village or one coal mine and so it was quite natural for men to sing when one town played against another, particularly when that game was Wales’ national sport of rugby. The first time the Welsh National Anthem, ‘Yr Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau’ (’The Old Country of my Fathers’, usually translated as ‘Land of My Fathers’), was sung at an International sporting event was in 1905
Along side the choirs, brass bands developed in villages, working men’s clubs, churches and at work particularly in South Wales where brass bands are still very popular. In fact, the Cory Band is one of the most best brass bands in the world.
There were more than a few world famous Welsh singers in the Twentieth Century and some of them are still singing to packed audiences worldwide. Ivor Novello was one of the first who became well-known during the First World War as a singer songwriter. Then there was Geraint Evans and Delme Bryn-Jones during the Second World War.
After that, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey began their singing careers in the 1950’s and are still singing fifty years later. There were also well-liked bands in the Seventies and Eighties such as Man and Budgie and solo singers such as Shakin’ Stevens, nnie Tyler and John Cale (Velvet Underground).
In more recent times, we have seen the Manic Street Preachers, Catatonia, Super Furry Animals and Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci; the last two bands being notable for lots of their songs’ words being in Welsh.
There have always been operatic singers as well such as Rebecca Evans, Aled Jones, Bryn Tervel and Charlotte Church. Cardiff hosts the ‘Singer of the World’ competition but the Wales also has its very own Eisteddfod, where Pavarotti sang for years. It was because of Wales tradition as a nation of singers that Paul Robeson visited Wales in the Fifties

If you are considering attempting to make some money with Google’s Adsense, it is worth doing some research first. After all, you have a number of items to think of before you start. These are items like the colour, the size and the position of the adverts themselves, but you also need to know Google’s rules for letting you make use of Adsense. For instance, there are restrictions on how many ads and search boxes you can put on any one page, but not on any one website.
Google itself provides a ton of information concerning which are the best size ads to use and where to place them. The first thing for anyone aspiring to use Adsense to do is go and read what Google has to say about its own product.
Experience may have taught you to be a little suspicious when listening to people blowing their own trumpet and some scepticism is useful here too.
Google allows three ads, two links and three search bars per page (I think at the time of composing this piece) and if you do not put all this stuff on your web page, Google will email you suggesting that you do. Take this with a pinch of salt. Google does not care whether you earn a living wage as long as everyone makes something, because they get 50% of what you make. Times hundreds of millions of websites.
Let’s take these units one by one. First the search box: why would you want to provide your visitors with an simple escape path? You only earn about 4-5 cents for doing it whereas if they click out in another way you can get $6-$9. Crazy.
Second, the links: links pay out very low per click; far lower than the ads – again look for 5-6 cents a click. They are a waste of time. Third, the ads: the big ads are good earners and so are the skyscrapers. Other ads might do well on your site, they do not on mine and nor does the option of allowing picture ads.
Why put a big box advert and then hobble it by allowing one picture advertisement on it, when you can have four different text ads? Again, crazy. Now, only a thought on this. This is pure conjecture you understand: if you put three ads going down your page and a link at the bottom, what occurs?
I have to take for granted that Google will position its most expensive ads first to maximize revenue, so as the visitor reads down the page the ads are gradually becoming worth less money.
The reader gets to the bottom of the page and clicks out on your cheapest ads having by passed your expensive ads at the top. So why not just put one substantial advert block and be done with it?
Google gives plenty of help with statistics including which web pages made the most money and where the surfers came from. Look for their link to Google Analytics and install the small chunk of code on your website. You will learn a great deal. Learn to read your cPanel statistics as well and study them regularly
If your browser accepts Add-Ons, do a search for ‘Adsense’ maybe there are a couple you will find handy.

Are you wondering what the best times to try to schedule a fly fishing expedition are? Well, when we talk about a fly fishing calendar, we are not quite referring to a printed calendar that you can hang on your wall. We are talking about focusing on and specifying the right times to fish and the right places at which to fish.
The main thing you need to think about when you are considering drawing up a fly fishing calendar is: when will the water be at the optimum temperature? That is, the temperature that is best for catching fish. The best time to go fishing will depend on the region that you are looking at for your fly fishing trip.
In some locations, like California, the fishing is very good all the year round. While in other locations, such as Washington, you will have to stay away from the water in the winter as the cold temperatures will stress the fish and they will not be as plenteous.
Generally speaking, the fly fishing calendar shows that the best fly fishing is in the spring and summer periods. Early autumn will also find some places showing good fishing as well. Almanacs can be helpful to guide you towards the best fishing times and places as can continuously updating Internet web sites that are run by keen local fishermen.
Many locations will give weekly, and sometimes even daily fishing reports on their websites. They can tell you where the fish are biting and where the best places in the river are to cast your line. They generally keep these areas of their web sites up-to-date fairly regularly. So you can get excellent reports just by looking at what other anglers have to say about their fishing experiences.
Usually, fish like warmer water, although, there are other species like salmon and steelhead that thrive in colder water. However, in general, warm water will attract more fish. Nevertheless, if the water is too warm, the fish will be sluggish and will swim to locations where the water is cooler.
The fly fishing calendar employed most often by experienced anglers has been compiled over a lengthy period of time. They expend a considerable amount of effort to estimate where and when the best fishing will occur. Then they share it with others. That is one of the best things about fly fishing – the camaraderie and the sharing that can come about because of a mutual affection for the sport of fly fishing.
You can compile your own fly fishing calendar with a little time and effort. Just do your homework and keep copious notes. When you see a trend, you will know that it is time to go fishing! Then you should be sure to help your fellow fishermen by passing on the information via a local club or the Internet, if you are talented at it, because others will be trying to work out what you already know. You know that most fly fishermen would do the same for you, do you not?

Sport is probably the number one or number two entertainment in the world. People are enthralled by sport, but why is it so absorbing? Is it envy? Do we wish that we could run that fast, play that hard and generate that much money? Or do we empathize with the athletes? Do we realize how much they suffered, worked and gave up to get to the top of their chosen field of conflict?
Whatever the reason, it seems that in these days of physical superiority, you cannot become a top athlete and hold down a regular job at the same time. In the Seventies, the small country of Wales had the best rugby team in the world for around a decade, but half of the players were only regular guys with ordinary jobs.
Training was minimal compared with today. Nowadays a world-beating team like that would be unimaginable under those circumstances. However, it is still possible to become an accomplished athlete with decent nutrition even if you might not get to be world champion.
Is there an all-in-one sports nutrition supplement? A silver bullet that can make you fit and healthy? Probably not, although there are helpful one-stop products that will give your body all it requires under standard circumstances.
This is helpful for the busy person, because it takes the thinking, researching and shopping out of the equation saving you time. If you go looking for an all-in-one sports nutrient take your time and buy one that is suitable for what you do or would like to do.
For instance a marathon runner would probably require a different mix than a weight lifter, although the fundamental nutrients are probably the same. A weight lifter requires instant power, whereas a marathon runner requires endurance. So be certain you get the right one.
If you are only doing a bit or jogging, walking a few miles or playing a game of football a week, the runner’s mix is probably better for you than the power lifter’s mix. Which brings me on to the next point.
These mixes often have a great deal of calories in them, so keep in mind to burn those calories off with extra exercise or reduce your intake of other foodstuffs to compensate or you will blow up like a balloon!
One thing is for sure, a good all-in-one sport nutrient will not be cheap. If it is cheap, check the sell-by date and definitely check the contents. How are the calories made up? Is it mostly from carbohydrates? Carbohydrates are cheap or most are anyway and they are rapidly converted to energy which will cause sugar spikes in your blood. Is that what you want? Are you a power lifter?
More expensive mixes will contain more protein which has a slower burn allowing your blood to handle the blood/sugar levels more easily. Another thing to check is whether the mix contains the full recommended daily amount (RDA) of all the vitamins and minerals that you require. And check the fibre content because calories without fibre is not healthy either.

Archery fishing is also known as bow fishing and it is as ancient as the bow and arrow themselves. We in the West are inclined to think that only poorer tribesmen in Third World countries go bow fishing, but that is not quite true.
These days the hunting of mammals is stringently controlled and so some people who like to hunt with a bow will turn to bow fishing if the animals that they like to pursue, say deer, are out of season. Some other people, who would not hunt a deer or bear are quite happy to kill fish in this way.
Bow fishing is a skilled sport, but the paraphernalia need not of necessity be hi-tech. The fact is that you can use whatever bow you have or you can just make one. It does not have to be powerful, because the quarry is seldom more than ten feet away. You categorically do not have to have a 100 lbf longbow to kill a trout.
Having said that, any bow used for fishing will need to be adapted slightly – you will need to attach a reel to it, but it does not have to be anything fancy. There are three principal types of reel for use in bow fishing: hand-wrap, spincast and retriever and the line is usually braided nylon of approximately eighty pounds although you might require six hundred pound breaking strain line for alligators or sharks.
It is worth checking out the regulations with regard to bow fishing in your country or state, because sometimes bow fishermen have to be licensed and sometimes getting that license involves having been on a safety course.
Some regions will even have by-laws regarding the type of equipment you can use in bow fishing and of course, some fish have seasonal limitations.
Bow fishing is a hybrid of fishing and hunting, so you may have to learn some new skills like tying knots for example. You will have to be able to tie the line to the reel and the arrow and those knots will have to be able to put up with the incredible acceleration that an arrow leaving a bow goes through without slipping.
The bow may not differ much from a normal bow, but the arrows certainly do. Arrows for bow fishing are normally a lot more substantial that air-flight arrows. They also have barbed points to prevent the fish escaping or just slipping off when you reel it in. The arrows do not have fletching either because flights are apt to avert the true course of the arrow in water – the opposite of in the air.
There are three main techniques used in bow fishing: 1] you can put down ground bait and lie in wait. – an over hanging tree or high boulder is good for this; 2] you can float down stream in a boat while sitting or standing in the bow; 3] you can walk into the river like a salmon fisherman.
Compensating for the refraction of the water is the most difficult ability to learn and that means knowing the water well as well.

Changing the oil in your automobile is very easy with just a few steps. You can save yourself time and money knowing the job is done right if you change the oil yourself. To change the oil in your automobile all you need is some basic tools. The tools needed to correctly change the oil in your car are a basic wrench set, a Jack to jack the car up, and a pair of jacks stands to safely support the car while you are working underneath it.
First you will need to make sure that you have the proper size wrench or socket to loosen the oil drain pan plug with. So it’s a good idea to have your tools already handy and already have the correct tools for the job before you begin to change the oil in your car. You will need to use a floor jack to safely jack the car up on both sides of the frame. Once you have the car safely jack to a position where you can work underneath it you need to place floor jacks to support the frame on both sides of the frame so the car will be supported and you can work 100 percent safely.
Once you had the car safely supported with Jack stands on the frame you can now go to the next step. With the wrench or socket you can now unscrew oil drain plug and let the oil drain out into a large container that you already have placed underneath the oil pan. Once you let all the oil drain out of the pan you can now take the plug and screw it back into the oil pan and tighten it with your wrench. You want to make sure the oil drain pan plug is securely screwed into the oil pan so no oil leaks out.
After all the old oil has been drained out of the car and oil plug has been reinstalled and is tightly secure you can now proceed to the next up. You need to locate the oil filter underneath the car and you need to loosen the oil filter with a special wrench and take the old oil filter off. Make sure you have a large pan underneath oil filter to catch any old oil that may spill out. Now that you have the old filter off you can now take your new filter and screw it in were the old filter was. Always check for leaks after you install the new oil filter onto the car.
Now that the previous steps have been done you can safely lower the vehicle off of the Jack Stand back to its original position. Now you can take the oil filler cap off of the engine and you can fill the correct amount of fluid into your engine to bring it to the full level. The amount needed to fill your engine oil to its full capacity should be available inside your owners manual or your local automotive shop should be able to tell you how many quarts of new fresh oil you will need to fill it to the full mark. When finished always make sure to reinstall the oil filler cap so there are no Leaks from the Engine.
Once this is done and you’ve added the correct amount of new fresh oil to your engine you can now screw back on the oil filler cap and you can safely start the vehicle. Once the vehicle has started for a minute or so shut the vehicle off open back up the hood take the oil dipstick out wipe it off and check level of the oil to make sure that it that the correct level. Also check that there is no oil leaking from underneath the car so you can make sure that you did the job right the first time and that all oil caps and fittings are tight in the engine.
Now that you can see how easy it is to change the oil in your vehicle, with the steps that I have mentioned in the above paragraphs I hope you will find this information helpful. If you follow the steps I’ve mentioned you can safely and efficiently change the oil in your car yourself and save some money and know that the job was done right the first time.
