IBM InfoPrint 1622 Printer is the series that replaced the Infoprint 1512 models. Infoprint 1622 is a monochrome laser printer from IBM, which offers speedy media printing for up to 35 pages per minute (PPM) in letter size papers. For the larger A4 size papers, the 1622 printer could produce 33 pages each minute.
The 1622 comes in two distinct models: 501 and 502. These models come with duplex drawers. The first drawer could hold a maximum of 250 sheets. The second drawer is good for only one piece of paper. Since this IBM printer is small with a size of 16 inches x14 inches x10 inches, it can easily fit into a tiny room like a cubicle. This can be plugged into a LAN to convert it into a printer server. The 1622 printer can print in duplex. This means it can print on both sides of the paper page simultaneously. The 400MHz processor enables it to print document faster, no matter how sophisticated it is.

This wireless option of 1622 enables you to transfer this printer easily to another location with no need for more cables. The printer can be used in indoor or outdoor places. This monochrome laser printer can handle high volume printing of documents. The usage rate for this printer is 80,000 maximum impressions per month. It is not advisable to use the maximum allowable printing impression of IBM Infoprint 1622 Printer on a regular basis though as this could cause undue strain on the printer.
